Your family gets the flag, the headstone, and a $2,004 reimbursement.
Then they get the funeral bill.

Three questions and your details. A licensed agent brings you the real number for your age and your health — not a ballpark off a website.

Got it — we'll be in touch

We're not licensed in your state just yet, and we're adding states through the year. You're on the list, and we'll reach out the moment we can help.

Nothing else is needed from you today.

What the VA covers, and what it doesn't.

If you already have VALife or VGLI, keep it. This is built to sit alongside it, not replace it.

The three numbers behind this

$2,004
What the VA pays toward burial — a $1,002 allowance plus $1,002 toward a plot.
A $1,002 burial allowance plus $1,002 toward a plot, for non-service-connected deaths on or after October 1, 2025. The burial flag and the government headstone are free. The allowance is a reimbursement — your family pays the funeral home first and files for it after.

$7,991
What your family is left holding.
Paid directly to the person you name, for whatever the family needs. Coverage amounts and rates vary by age, health, carrier and state.

How you get your quote

  1. You answer three questions and give us your details. About two minutes, no paperwork.
  2. You pick when you want your quote. Nobody contacts you before that time.
  3. You get the premium and the benefit for your age and health, about 15 minutes. You say yes, or you say no.
Independent agency — multiple A-rated carriers compared, not one company's shelf
No medical exam. A few health questions.
Premiums that don't increase, benefits that don't decrease
Nothing due today. No obligation. If it isn't right for you, we'll say so.

Questions we get

Is this the VA burial benefit?

No. This is private life insurance from an A-rated carrier. The VA burial allowance is a reimbursement paid to your family after your death, and it does not cover the funeral home bill. This is separate, and it pays your beneficiary directly.

I already have VALife. Do I still need this?

Depends on your numbers. VALife requires a service-connected rating, caps at $40,000, and makes your family wait two years before the full benefit applies. If you are inside that window, or if $40,000 does not cover what you want covered, this fills the gap. If VALife already does the job, we will tell you that.

Is Vantage Life Group part of the government?

No. We're an independent, licensed insurance agency. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medicare, or Tricare.

I have service-connected conditions. Can I still apply?

Usually yes. Most options ask a few health questions with no medical exam, and we work with carriers that take harder cases. A rating is not an automatic decline — some conditions change which option fits, they do not always mean no.

Will my rate go up as I get older?

Not on the whole life options we show most people. The rate is set at the age you start and stays there, and the benefit doesn't shrink. VGLI works differently — its premiums rise with each age band.

Do I have to pay anything today?

No. Nothing is due on the call. If you decide to move forward, you choose the day your first payment comes out.

Who will call me?

Youssef Halim, a licensed New Jersey life insurance agent, at the time you pick. Not a call center.
